Angela Auletta
Angela Auletta is an experienced teacher with a career spanning elementary and middle school. Her specialties include ELA, math, Gifted & Inclusion Instruction and Spanish.
She is adept at initiating and implementing new programs, at facilitating curriculum transitions and at working to enhance the education of at-risk students. Angela also serves as a mentor to student teachers who come from universities and colleges in the area.
Angela is currently teaching 4th grade in the South Euclid - Lyndhurst district.

Mary Biggs
Mary Biggs is a K-8 Teacher and expert in management, housing and family development. Ms. Biggs has worked in the Montgomery County Public School system for the past 37 years until her retirement in 2015. She served on various county and school committees during her tenure with Montgomery County Public Schools. Ms. Biggs was selected for inclusion for the 2002 publication, International Who’s Who in Public Service.

Bill Eaton is a 1996 graduate of the University School Teacher Apprentice Program sponsored by Ursuline College. Bill spent 16 years as a teacher and coach before turning to business consulting and strategic planning.

Dr. Amy Hauenstein
Dr. Amy Hauenstein is a Higher Education Senior Administrator, Equity Education Researcher and Teacher at Northwestern University. She is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Learning Designs LLC. Amy is a 2005 graduate of the University School Teacher Apprentice Program sponsored by Ursuline College.

Andrese Howard
Andrese Howard molds students to become community health leaders, advocates for social change, and pioneers in developing a world where all groups of people are provided with access to quality health care and treatment.

Dr. Lori Koncsol
Dr. Lori Koncsol was a nurse and clinical practitioner before changing to a career in teaching. She is a 2006 graduate of the University School Teacher Apprentice Program sponsored by Ursuline College has taught for the past 16 years. She is currently a Nursing Educator with the Northern Career Institute.

Dr. Virginia Lindseth
Dr. Virginia Lindseth has served as educational psychologist, school administrator, educational consultant and university professor. She founded the Teacher Apprentice Program at University School which is the inspiration for founding The National Teachers College's Teacher Resident Program.
Dr. Lindseth served on the Ohio Board of Regents and currently serves on various boards throughout the greater Cleveland area.

Gesta O. Miller
Gesta O. Miller encourages families to use their voices to advocate for their scholars in urban education and empowers women to be change agents over their lives.
She has served on various district committees and boards within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Gesta is also an entrepreneur and the founder of TempSit Learning Alternatives LLC.

Sherry Miller
Sherry Miller brings to our board, decades of innovative leadership in elementary education. She worked as Head of School at Agnon and Principal of HIlltop Elementary in Beachwood.

Miller is perhaps best know for her work in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights district where she created Gearity Professional Development School. Under Miller’s leadership, Gearity was designated as a Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education, based on its innovative approaches and success in student achievement.

Dr. Suzanne Seifert
Dr. Suzanne Seifert is an executive leader with expertise in providing strategic direction to non-profit organizations while successfully executing cutting-edge sustainable ideas and meeting financial goals. Dr. Seifert is known for creating and managing collaborations and partnerships within the larger community for shared outcomes that benefit stakeholders, the organization's constituents, and donors. These win/win/win successes also elevate and enhance the organizational brand. Seifert has served large organizations with a national reach as well as mid-sized and smaller non-profits. She is passionate about leading organizational excellence.
Seifert is currently the principal at HRS, Inc, Cleveland where she leads consultancy aimed at increasing nonprofit's sustainability and is engaged in research and analysis of community issues. Persons with disabilities are an emphasis in Seifert's work.

Gail Stein
Gail Stein is a career educator. After Gail graduated from the University School Teacher Apprentice Program in 1994, she began her 26 year education career at University School as a fourth and fifth grade teacher. She then went on to direct the US Lower School for 17 years.
Gail was actively involved in the International Boys School Coalition and The National Association of Independent Schools.
She is a leader in innovation for supporting the education of Cleveland's children and young adults.

Tina Stump
Tina Stump is a teacher/actor from Cleveland, Ohio. She is a 2000 graduate of the Teacher Apprentice Program (TAP) and is presently the Structured Literacy Specialist at Halle School of Inquiry in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
As a member of Project Act's Reading Company, Tina is an advocate for literacy both in and out of the classroom. When the school bell rings, you'll find her rehearsing or performing somewhere in the region.

Honoring those who served the college.

Maxine Greene
Maxine Greene is recognized as one of America's foremost philosophers of education, authoring multiple books and hundreds of articles, essays and reviews. She identified herself as philosopher, author, teacher and social activist. Viewing the arts as one of the most powerful vehicles for effecting social change, she influenced thousand of students and teachers during her career.
​Maxine believed in possibility and in Utopian thinking. She brought those beliefs, her energy and her support to our new College as a member of our Founding Board of Trustees. Maxine was a member of the Board of Trustees until her death in 2014.

Betty English
Betty English spent her professional life in the world of education - first as teacher, then principal, and retiring as Superintendent of Warren schools in Ohio. She brought her extensive experience to the College as a member of the Founding Board of Trustees. Her enthusiasm, support and friendship were critical to our new initiative. Betty was a member of the Board of Trustees until her death in 2012.

Everett Cataldo
Everett Cataldo brought decades of experience and expertise in university administration and assessment to The National Teachers College Board. Everett spent 28 years in various positions at Cleveland State University. Everett's work with state and national accreditation was especially valuable in putting the College's assessment and accreditation protocols in place. Everett was a member of the Board of Trustees until his death in 2019.

Deb Nash
Deb Nash was an active educator and philanthropist. She worked as a school counselor for 26 years and was active in the Cleveland community serving on several boards.
​Deb served as advisor to the University School Teacher Apprentice Program for its 22 years.
Deb served on our Advisory Board from 2018 until her passing this March of 2025.
