The National Teachers College was founded to enhance the education of K-12 students by providing the best possible preparation for those who teach them. We are especially invested in students living in urban settings. Our partnerships with urban schools around the country provide the training ground for aspiring teachers to learn from the best. Not only will our new teachers be committed to successful teaching, but - because of our distinctive teacher apprentice program - they will be well-prepared to do so.
