The National Teachers College is now accepting inquiries and applications for its Teacher Resident Program for Urban Teaching.  Openings are available for our Elementary P-5 License.  We also welcome prospective applicants for a high school license.

The National Teachers College held its first information session on March 4th to introduce key community members to the College and to its
​​Teacher Resident Program for Urban Teaching.

The National Teachers College has launched its fund raising campaign to secure operational funds as well as scholarships for our prospective candidates. Please visit our Partner Page to help us meet our goals and launch this important and innovative program.

May 2024
Full Scholarship Opportunity for Candidates Accepted into our Accelerated M.Ed. Fellows Program


All tuition and fees paid

This 32-hour graduate level program leads to the M.Ed. in 13 months

Up to 15 hours of graduate course work can be transferred in to meet the degree requirements


Must be employed as a teacher in a K-12 setting

Must be able to attend in-person classes taught on Cleveland's East side

Must be able to handle 12-15 credit hours of graduate course work per semester​

Program begins June 3, 2024 with two summer sessions and continues with the fall and spring semesters and a second summer session.

Successful candidates will graduate in June, 2025 with an M.Ed. in Education.
