GRADUATE FACULTY

The National Teachers College uses a site-based model for implementing its graduate programs. Part of the development of each partnership involves hiring graduate faculty to teach the courses at the site. This maximizes the time teacher residents spend in the school and enables the graduate faculty (some of whom may be K-12 teachers from the partner school) to customize the curriculum to the school's particular demographics, mission and curriculum.  Master syllabi and universal assessments are used to ensure that each off-site campus maintains philosophical and pedagogical integrity with TNTC's mission and conceptual framework.
