       Terri Garfinkel is a life-long educator and teacher extraordinaire.  She began   
      her teaching career as a public school kindergarten teacher and continued to
      educate and motivate young people throughout her career.  Always inspired
      and inspiring, Garfinkel was eager to try new approaches and to lead
      her students to learn deeply.

  Emma Forquer is a teacher and entrepreneur – designing curriculum
  and creating  innovative experiences for students studying Chinese. She
  taught for over ten years in the Cleveland area at Laurel School and the Chinese
  Academy of Cleveland.

  Emma designed and taught Chinese immersion camps
  during the summer and designed a K-8 curriculum in Chinese for Laurel School.
  She continued her work in curriculum design when she moved to Illinois
  where she designed high school Chinese curriculum. Although she recently
  chose to be a full-time stay at home mother, Emma continues to volunteer to develop and teach programs in Chinese education at the Evanston Public Library. Emma currently lives in Evanston, Illinois.

Andrese Howard

Andrese Howard molds students to become community health leaders, advocates for social change, and pioneers in developing a world where all groups of people are provided with access to quality health care and treatment.
 

Her passion for learning and access to quality education for her students exceeds beyond the classroom. She serves as the Union Chapter Chair in her school, and Senior Adviser. She has served on the new school design team for the New Westside High School and is currently serving on the Academic Scenarios Work Group: Reopening Plan. She has hosted district professional development on backwards design planning and presented nationally at The Blended Personalized Conference on student led classrooms.

Dr. Lori Koncsol

Lori Koncsol is currently employed at the Northern Career Institute where she is a classroom instructor for the accelerated nursing program.  In that capacity, she serves as the clinical and laboratory instructor of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Body Structure, Nursing Fundamentals, Nutrition, Growth and Development, and Pharmacology.

Lori holds an Ohio middle school teaching license, grades 4-9 and graduated from the University School - Ursuline College Teacher Apprentice Program.  She also holds a K-12 Reading Endorsement as well as a certificate as a Career and Technical Vocational Instructor.

Dr. Gaylee McCracken

Gaylee McCracken began her career as an art and English teacher.  She taught at Laurel School and received a Martha Holden Jennings grant to teach art in Cleveland Heights/University Heights school district.  After teaching, she became a full-time artist.  She then took a position as a graphic designer for Case Western Reserve University before beginning her studies in medicine. 

Gaylee transitioned to medicine in 1999 and has been practicing medicine for over 20 years, with an emphasis on women's health.

Gaylee is has many active roles in the community and is the founder of the Cleveland Children's Museum.

  Deb Nash

Active educator and philanthropist.  Deb Nash worked as a school counselor for 26 years.  She has been active in the Cleveland community serving in several capacities and is one of the founders of the ABC (A Better Chance) program in Cleveland.  She is currently serving on the boards of the Land Conservancy of Gates Mills and the Chagrin River Land Conservancy.
